Oh Vienna! Real Viennese love to grumble about everything and especially about public transport. Nevertheless, it can’t be that bad as Vienna got ranked the most livable city in 2018 and 2019 by The Ecomomist’s Intelligence Unit. As per the UITP, sustainable and reliable mobility has a huge part in that win.
So “Wiener Linien”, Vienna’s public transportation company is facing an interesting challenge: While providing perfect services, lot’s of Vienna’s inhabitants constantly complain about them. To successfully overcome this negative image, they started to launch fashion collections in collaboration with hip Vienna brands. Suddenly everyone, especially the young, wanted to have Wiener Linien’s gear. Press also hopped on the bandwagon and wrote only positive reviews about the collections. Naturally, they sold out within weeks!
In summer 2020, Wiener Linien cooperated with Vision1 eyewear to create this year’s must have item: Classy logo sunglasses with a subtle print on the lens. (invisible for the sunglasses wearer). We are happy to add our products into the mix of Vienna’s top items.
In summer 2019 Wiener Linien collaborated with Miyagi to create swimwear from high-quality fabrics destined for the landfill. Fashion enthusiasts did not expect that and these items got cult status right away.
For fall winter 2019 peng! hit exactly the fashion trend with oversize sweatpants, shirts and windbreakers rocking a large new Wiener Linien Fashion Logo. Must haves for all clubbers and party people out there.
For this years “It piece” Wiener Linien collaborated with your’s truly, Vision1 Eyewear. Together we created classic sunglasses with a subtle Logo print on the lens.
